Pogi's grooming wipes: a label review of bamboo sheets and a short ingredient list
Pogi's makes an extra-large grooming wipe from bamboo fiber, 8 x 9 inches, with a seven-item ingredient list in the fragrance-free version. It is our pick of the two big plant-fiber dog wipes for a large dog, mainly because the sheet is the larger one and the list is only seven items long. This is a label review: we read the maker's page and did not test the wipes.

Not veterinary advice. This page has not been reviewed by a veterinarian; it summarizes published veterinary sources, linked in the text. If your pet has a skin problem, a wound, or symptoms that do not clear up, talk to your vet.
Buy it if you have a big dog, wipe paws and body daily, and want a fragrance-free, alcohol-free wipe whose list you can check against your dog's triggers.
Pick something else if you want a deodorizing or medicated wipe, a stated minimum age for a young puppy, or a wipe for a household with a cat. For a stated age, Earth Rated says 8 weeks.
The data comes from the maker's product page, read on 2026-10-15. Other brands are in dog wipe brands compared, and the general picks are in best dog wipes.

Source: maker page (pogis.com), checked 2026-10-15.
- Sheet size: 8 x 9 inches, which the maker calls extra large.
- Material: thick, textured bamboo-fiber cloth.
- Counts: tubs of 100 and 400, travel packs of 120 and 240.
- Scents: fragrance free, or green tea. The green tea version has its own list with fragrance, and we have no data on it.
- Stated claims: no alcohol, no parabens, dermatologically tested, cruelty-free (no certification named), not flushable.
- Missing from the page: minimum age, made-in country, anything about cats.
At 8 x 9 it is one inch longer than Earth Rated's 8 x 8, which is why we look at it for big dogs. We haven't handled it, so check how it holds up on wet mud.
The ingredient list
The full list as published: purified water, aloe vera extract, vitamin E, awapuhi extract, cucumber extract, polysorbate 20, benzoic acid.
- Purified water is the carrier.
- Aloe vera extract sits second. The ASPCA lists the aloe plant as toxic to dogs and cats when eaten. Wipe-grade extracts are processed, and no source we found gives a safe level. Dogs that lick their paws are the case to think about.
- Vitamin E, awapuhi (a ginger relative) and cucumber extract are skin-feel ingredients. We found no veterinary source on awapuhi.
- Polysorbate 20 is the surfactant that lets the botanicals mix with water, and the nearest thing to a cleanser on the list.
- Benzoic acid is the preservative. Our entry on benzoates and sorbates says felids lack a metabolic step used to clear benzoate, and that high-dose feeding is very toxic to cats. The practical risk at wipe levels isn't established.
A short list means fewer things to react to, and if your dog does react, one ingredient is easier to pin down. There is no Phenoxyethanol here, which several other wipes use. More in what's in pet wipes.
Pack formats
Pogi's has the widest range of formats in this group. The 100 and 400 count tubs suit a daily routine at home, and the 120 and 240 count travel packs suit a car or camping bag. If you're unsure the wipe suits your dog's skin, start with the smaller pack. The maker gives no resealing detail, so keep an open pack tightly closed.
Cats
The maker doesn't mention cats, and the label has benzoic acid, so we wouldn't use these on a cat without asking a vet. Best cat wipes lists wipes made for cats, and are dog wipes safe for cats explains why.
Bamboo and eco claims
Bamboo-fiber cloth is the only eco claim on the maker page. It names what the sheet is made from, not how it breaks down, and the maker says not to flush. No compostability claim appears, and "cruelty-free" has no named certification behind it. If landfill impact decides your purchase, this page can't settle it.
Alternatives
For a plant-fiber wipe with a stated minimum age, Earth Rated says 8 weeks. Read the Earth Rated review or the direct comparison. Earthbath states a made-in-USA claim and a 6 week minimum age, and its full list includes a different preservative.

What we couldn't verify
The green tea version's ingredients, and any certification behind "cruelty-free." We also can't speak to thickness in use, tear strength, moisture after opening or residue, which need hands-on testing.
If your dog shows redness, itching or swelling after a wipe, stop using it and ask your vet.
Frequently asked questions
What are the ingredients in Pogi's dog grooming wipes?
For the fragrance-free wipe the maker lists purified water, aloe vera extract, vitamin E, awapuhi extract, cucumber extract, polysorbate 20 and benzoic acid. The green tea version has a separate list that includes fragrance and is not in our data.
Are Pogi's wipes safe for cats?
The maker page doesn't mention cats, so treat them as dog wipes. The benzoic acid preservative is the reason to be cautious: sources on benzoates describe cats as unusually sensitive, though the practical risk at wipe levels isn't established.
How big are Pogi's grooming wipes?
The maker states 8 x 9 inches, in a thick, textured bamboo-fiber cloth.
Are Pogi's wipes hypoallergenic?
The maker describes them as dermatologically tested and free of alcohol and parabens. Hypoallergenic is not a regulated claim for pet products, so check the ingredient list against your dog's known triggers.
Can you flush Pogi's wipes?
No. The maker says not to flush them.
Where are Pogi's wipes made, and what is the minimum age?
The maker page gives neither.
