About PetWipesGuide
PetWipesGuide helps you pick a wipe for a particular job (muddy paws, a messy back end, a cat's coat) and shows you which ones to skip. It exists because wipe labels are hard to compare: sheet sizes go unstated, ingredient lists hide on maker pages and "hypoallergenic" promises nothing. The site launched on 2026-10-15. Read the label first, and let us do the comparing.
What we do
We read the maker's product page and pack, copy the ingredient list as published, and set it against veterinary and toxicology sources: VCA Animal Hospitals, the MSD Veterinary Manual, the ASPCA and Pet Poison Helpline. The result is product comparisons, safety guides, and an ingredient reference that links each claim to its source. The safety guides start at pet wipe safety. The full process, including its limits, is on how we research.
What we have not done
We have not tested any of these wipes on a pet. Every comparison rests on labels, maker pages and published sources. If we add hands-on notes, we will mark them as such and say what was tested. Until then, nothing here means "we tried it."
Who writes it
PetWipesGuide is run by one person, its owner, who writes the pages and checks them against their sources. There is no editorial team, no personal byline and no veterinary reviewer, and "we" on this site means PetWipesGuide. We are not veterinarians. Guide, roundup, review, compare and tool pages carry a "Not veterinary advice" note saying the page has not been reviewed by a veterinarian. The home page and the trust pages, this one included, carry no such note, but the same is true of them: nothing on the site has been reviewed by a veterinarian.
For a rash, an ear that smells or a wound, ask your vet and bring the pack.
How the site is funded
We do not sell wipes, and we are independent of the makers: no brand pays to be included or praised. The site is funded by affiliate commissions. PetWipesGuide is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, so we may earn a commission when you buy through our links, at no extra cost to you. The affiliate disclosure has the details, and the terms of use cover the rest.
